12 Silent Minutes at 12 Noon on Earth Day, April 22 (CST) A Live Online Interfaith Meditation and Prayer Gathering

On the 50th anniversary of Earth Day this gathering offers an opportunity to acknowledge both our love for Earth and all humanity, and our grief and distress regarding the escalating effects of COVID-19 and climate change. It is a time to reflect on our kinship with the Earth we love and cultivate inner strength and compassion. Let's unite as One Heart and mark this important day together, sowing seeds for future action.

We invite everyone to spread the word and join online with Zoom. Click here to join.

Building Unity & Celebrating Earth Week - Virtually!

Join us on Saturday, April 25th at 6pm for a virtual Earth Week Celebration and the launch of the Building Unity Virtual Tour.

Here is a rough schedule:
6:00 - Let's eat together. Join us with your children, family, meal, and device to join Zoom in front of you.
6:15 - Chat as a large group, and enjoy creative expressions and sharing of what inspires you to protect and stand up for the Earth and all people. Some may share music, a song, a poem, essays and writings, a game, a joke, a story, or an image or piece of art. You and whatever, whomever inspires you is completely welcome.
6:35 - A few activists will share very brief overviews of what they are working on. When all have presented, we will all have the opportunity to join one of the breakout groups facilitated by these activists. You can also choose to stay in the inspiration sharing room.
7:00 – We’ll come back to the large group for some music, art sharing, and group report backs.
8:00 - We will end the event, but if some would like to linger either as a large group, or if people would like to create smaller groups to chat, we are happy to facilitate this as late as 9:00pm for any who would like to stay. Perhaps some of our activists would offer a second shot as the breakout group option for those who might like to attend another.

This virtual celebration will be a Zoom meeting, so you will be able to join by phone or computer. When you get to the event you may have to wait in the "Zoom meeting waiting room" as we are taking precautions to avoid "Zoom-bombing."
